This week we announced Blake Imperl has joined the Digioh family as our VP of Growth Marketing to lead us through our next phase of growth. Our Chief Revenue Officer, Allison Kelly, sat down with him to discuss his career journey, why Digioh, and what he will be focused on.
Blake brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record from some of the most influential roles in the eCommerce industry. He got his start as a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Retention Marketer working with Shopify Plus brands to scale lifecycle marketing programs. His path to marketing leadership started though when he joined the Conversational Commerce startup, Tone, as their first growth marketing hire. The company was acquired by SMS marketing platform Attentive, where he became the face of the partnerships team and a champion for the DTC Conversational Commerce framework. At Wonderment, he spearheaded the advancement of the transactional channel tailored for DTC eCommerce brands. With Carro, he crafted a niche in Collaborative Commerce, establishing the company as a category leader and an integral part of the eCommerce ecosystem.
In addition to his professional milestones, Blake's voice resonates beyond these roles through his work as the host of '2% the Podcast.' On this platform, he offers daily nuggets of wisdom to help eCommerce brands improve incrementally yet significantly. He's talked with brands like Magic Spoon, True Religion Jeans, and Feastables, while also talking to the founder behind eCommerce software platforms like Sendlane, Smartrr Subscriptions, Malomo, and more.
In this introductory video, Blake shares his vision for Digioh, outlining how he plans to synthesize his expansive background to drive our growth marketing strategies forward. Watch as he explains the synergies between his previous achievements and our future goals, promising to inject a powerful combination of expertise and innovative thinking into Digioh’s core.
Join us in welcoming Blake, as he sets the stage for a transformative journey ahead!
