PrettyLitter wanted to create more growth from the traffic it already had. With acquisition costs rising and a small marketing team, the opportunity was to identify more visitors, make onsite capture more personal, and connect those signals to retention and loyalty instead of relying on additional paid traffic or headcount.

Before PrettyLitter could personalize or build loyalty, it needed to know who was visiting. A large share of site traffic was anonymous, limiting the audiences available for Klaviyo segmentation and lifecycle automation.
At the same time, the team wanted list growth experiences to do more than collect an email address. Every form, pop-up, quiz, and loyalty action needed to create useful customer context that could improve the next touchpoint.
PrettyLitter built a connected ecosystem with Digioh, Friendbuy, Sticky Digital, and Klaviyo so that identification and onsite engagement could feed directly into retention and loyalty programs.
Digioh sits at the identity and onsite engagement layer, Klaviyo activates recovered identities and customer data in lifecycle flows, and Friendbuy uses quiz and engagement signals to power loyalty and referral experiences, while Sticky Digital supports the connected strategy.

For PrettyLitter, identification was the unlock that made the rest of the onsite and retention strategy more effective.
“Once we could actually identify who was coming to our site, everything clicked—our pop-ups, our Klaviyo flows, our loyalty campaigns.”
- Matthew Seifert, Vice President, CRM and Loyalty at PrettyLitter
PrettyLitter recovered 496,000 visitor identities and synced them to Klaviyo, expanding the audience available for segmentation and lifecycle automation. Digioh-engaged traffic converted at 7.8% compared with a 1.3% site average.
Over one year, Spin-to-Win and other pop-up variants generated $1.1 million in attributed revenue and drove 70% of new US email subscribers. Across the broader connected program, the current case study reports more than $2.2 million in attributed revenue.
The Cat Routine Personality Quiz reached a 90% completion rate and feeds data into both Klaviyo and Friendbuy. The loyalty program generated 13.6x ROI from redeemed member revenue, with a 19–20% referral share rate and a 20% referred-friend conversion rate.

For a three-person marketing team, the larger outcome was operational leverage: identity, capture, personalization, and loyalty could work together without requiring a collection of disconnected point solutions.
"Sticky Digital loves partnering with Digioh and Friendbuy because together we’re able to build smarter, more personalized onsite experiences far beyond traditional marketing — using segmented pop-ups, banners, and messaging that turn loyal customers into repeat purchasers. Retention isn’t just about email and SMS — it’s about connecting the entire funnel, and the Digioh X Friendbuy integrations help us unify the full customer experience for brands like PrettyLitter.”
